Dr. Jenny Fuehrer, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Fuehrer enjoys providing foot and ankle care to Central Iowa! Prior to opening Arch Foot & Ankle in August of 2019, Dr. Fuehrer was in private practice in the Chicago suburbs for four years, in a busy general podiatry practice with surgical emphasis.
Prior to private practice, she completed a three year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with the added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) at Weiss Memorial Hospital/Cook County Health System in Chicago, Illinois. During this time, she received extensive hands-on training from multiple podiatric surgeons in both the clinic and operating room setting.
She received her medical education from Des Moines University's College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and her undergraduate degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. She grew up in Reinbeck, Iowa and is excited to be back home in Iowa, near her family.
Dr. Fuehrer specializes in comprehensive care of all aspects of the foot and ankle, including: sports-related injuries, heel pain, flatfeet, trauma/fractures, Achilles injuries, bunions, hammertoes, toenail fungus, ingrown toenails and pediatric care. She also provides comprehensive care for all diabetes-related foot and and ankle conditions, including wound care.
Dr. Fuehrer is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), and is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS).
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jordan. They enjoy traveling, biking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family at Lake Okoboji.
